The management of the Foundation today approved the results of the completed research project "The Impact of Russian Folklore on the Development and Upbringing of Preschool Children".
The head of the Center of Children’s Programs of the Foundation, Darya Tulchinskaya, announced this to the «IPF-NoG-TV» correspondent.
The project was implemented by the Center for Children's Programs and the Research Center, structural subdivisions of the Foundation, in accordance with the development program of the Foundation “Nexus of Generations” for 2014–2017.
According to Darya Tulchinskaya: “In our time, the process of simplifying the impoverishment of the Russian language is everywhere observed, its beauty and imagery disappear. The vocabulary of most parents and children is small and primitive. The once “great mighty” Russian language is subject to change, simplification. Our children most organically perceive the basic foundations of Russian national culture through the small forms of Russian children's folklore: proverbs, jokes, jokes, tongues, riddles, ditties.
As noted in the study, during the work on the project the following work was performed:
- The postulation and justification of the thesis about the folklore of the Russian people as an important part of their national spiritual culture;
- Analysis of the main genres of Russian children's folklore;
- Justification of the educational value of Russian children's folklore.
