Exhibition-Fair «Orthodox Armed Forces»

The aim of the exhibition “Orthodox Troops” is: to unite the efforts of the Church, the government and society for the patriotic education of the citizens of Russia in the spirit of devotion to the traditions of the Orthodox Russian army, glorifying the saints and devotees of the Russian Orthodox Church, who devoted their lives to military service in the name of Holy Russia, popularizing modern forms of Orthodox education and upbringing of present and future defenders of the Fatherland; promoting the restoration of churches and monasteries, the development of social facilities, the revival of church and traditional crafts.

The project fits into the broad social task of spiritual and moral enlightenment and education; involvement of the widest sections of the population in social and charitable activities; expansion of state, church and public contacts.

The project of the exhibition Orthodox Troops is intended to become an integral part of the all-Russian program of patriotic education of the Russian political nation in the best traditions of the Russian Orthodox Army, which has been the main defender of its special historical purpose and mission throughout the centuries-old history of Holy Russia.

The name "Orthodox Host" reflects the unity of spiritual and material interests of a person, implies a combination of church and secular stands of the exhibition-fair.

The exhibition-fair will include a rich socio-educational, historical and cultural program, which is aimed at both the people of the church and the people who are only looking for faith and support in Orthodoxy. For people who want to get new spiritual experience and knowledge, as well as gain new practical experience in creative activities.
