The Fund’s management today approved the results of the completed research project “Comprehensive Program for the Use of Russian Folklore in the Formation of Patriotism in Preschool Children”.

The head of the Center of Children’s Programs of the Foundation, Darya Tulchinskaya, announced this to the «IPF-NoG-TV» correspondent.

The project was implemented by the Center for Children's Programs and the Research Center, structural subdivisions of the Foundation, in accordance with the development program of the Foundation “Connection of Generations” for 2014–17.

According to Daria Tulchinskaya: “During the work on the project, the following works were performed:

- Analysis of the current state of patriotic education in Russia of older preschool children in municipal and private preschool institutions and children's centers and their level of knowledge of the forms and genres of Russian children's folklore;
-- Formulation of priorities in the use of folklore in the patriotic education of preschoolers;
- Postulating the folklore of the Russian people as an important part of their national spiritual culture;
- Development of a complex of classes on patriotic education using the means of folklore in older preschoolers;
- Developments on thematic planning of the annual program of the use of Russian folklore in the formation of patriotism of children of preschool age;
- Formulation of recommended plans for the annual program;
- The forecast of the results of the use of the annual program of patriotic education by means of folklore.
