Mission

“Nexus of Generations” Interregional Public Foundation on contribution to forming-up of Russian historical Identification (shortly, “Nexus of Generations” Public Foundation/NGPF) was set up in summer 2013 and leads its activities on the basis of the Russian Constitution, the Federal Law "On Non-Commercial Organizations", the Federal Law "On Public Associations", the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, other laws and other legal acts of the Russian Federation.

The main goal of the NGPF's activities is the implementation of programs that contribute to the formation of the Russian historical consciousness of the Fund's participants and other persons on the territory of the city of Moscow and the Moscow Region.

In order to reach its goals, the Foundation carries out the following activities:

  • conducts scientific research in the field of the contemporary state of the historical consciousness of the Russian people;
  • develops scientific and practical recommendations on the formation of the historical continuity of the self-consciousness of the Russian nation as the nucleus of the Russian political nation;
  • conducts selection on a competitive basis of research projects on areas in the field of the formation of Russian historical consciousness;
  • popularizes modern practices of introducing the historical self-awareness of the Russian people through the use of innovative tools, including developing games, Internet games, etc .;
  • publishes scientific works and popular scientific works on national history;
  • Publishes popular series of historical literature;
  • Produces the creation of artistic, documentary, popular science and educational films, programs, series on Russian and world history;
  • assistance in the production of television and radio programs on issues related to the purposes of the Foundation, their placement on Russian and foreign TV and radio channels, including those broadcasting to foreign countries and abroad;
  • participates in the preparation of textbooks and compilation of history textbooks for secondary schools, secondary specialized and higher educational institutions;
  • establishment and awarding of prizes and awards of the Fund to individuals and legal entities, regardless of citizenship and country of incorporation;
  • carrying out research, educational, exhibition, scientific, consulting and other activities on issues related to the purposes of the Foundation;
  • supports international cooperation in scientific research of priority direction, including funding of joint research projects;
  • carries out in the established order the preparation and dissemination of information and other materials on the activities of the Fund, dissemination of information in the field of priority scientific research in the Russian Federation and abroad;
  • participates in the development of proposals for the formation of state scientific policy in the field of priority scientific research;
  • interacts with similar public associations, public authorities and local governments, commercial and non-profit organizations and institutions, individuals to achieve the Fund's goals;
  • participates in state tenders for the acquisition of goods and services needed to implement the goals of the Fund, participates in the receipt of grants;
  • forms the material and technical base of the Fund, acquires property, attracts voluntary donations to achieve the Fund's goals;
  • publishes and distributes literature, newspapers, magazines, brochures, carries out informational and educational activities, creates Internet sites that reflect the goals of the Foundation;
  • organizes and conducts public events: seminars, conferences, exhibitions, fairs, "round tables" aimed at achieving the goals of the Foundation.
